Shocking Discovery

It has been brought to my attention that people actually view this blog.
Therefore, I have decided to update this god forsaken blog thing.

I've decided to sell my carnial extraction for S$22. Its really quite low in my opinion since in US, they are selling it at US$25. Heck, my loss, unless someone out there has a better offer.

I watch the polar express today, not that good. It lacks the... er... conflict or something like that.
I will begin my random rant from here on about fate and fortune telling.

Fate is something people use when things happen to them, bad things or good things.
For e.g, Fate brought us together or its fate that we ended up like this or its fate that brought me here.
The butterfly effect doesn't acknowledge fate. If I choose not to do a particular thing, it sets off a chain reaction that will change the future in a great way instead of the actual "fate" path.

One who believes in fate would claim everything to be fate.
Possibilities are irrelevant. If I do this, the outcome may be different, but thats fate, and its suppose to turn out different. If I attempted suicide and survive, its fate. If I don't, its fate too. Because you won't know what might happen, whatever that happen is .. well.. fate.

Fortune telling is, no offense to those in this business, bullshit.
I say world war 3 will begin anytime from now to 2014. If it does begin between this period of time, people will start digging up my "prophecies" and claim all sorts of other shit.
If it doesn't, no one gives a shit, everyone continue with their lives.

Similar to horoscope. Today you will meet your lover, then suddenly every guy/gal around becomes a potential partner, why? Because of the horoscope.
If your horoscope says you'll have a bad day, naturally, you're already looking for a bad day, nothing seems good to you. There's always a good side to everything.
The reverse is also true. You'll find good things even in the crappiest days. Because of the change of perpectives, you're fulfilling your own horoscope. You want to believe that your horoscope is true and the way you view the things that happen makes you believe its true.
